APATICO

My company name is "Apatico", but I love the idea of combining the ideas of order and abandon. I first came across this phrase in Michael Pollan's "The Botany of Desire" to describe humanity's need to create order and structure VS nature's wildness and seeming abandon. Finding the perfect combination of "order" & "abandon" is something that I constantly strive for.

At times a visual cacophony of history, nature, beauty, life & death, light & dark; others a soft whisper of silk and feathers across an anticipating brow -

A fantasy, a beautiful decay; one for imperfect perfectionists, unromantic romantics, doers, dreamers, lovers (but never haters).

Adornments that have no place in this day and age.

Frivolous, dainty things that catch hold and inspire.

Discordant, decadent, elaborate and elegant trifles to adorn the finest and the farthest fallen: Trollops & tarts, dandies & dames, this is all for you."
