My name is Megan Bishop, and I am a maker of beautiful things.
I live in the beautiful city of Seattle, working on fancy hats in my little studio overlooking Lake Union by Gasworks Park!
My millinery career started with a misunderstanding and a happy accident - three years and hundreds of hats later, I'm still here, perfecting my craft and bursting with so many ideas, I can't possibly get them out of my head fast enough!
I'm a Midwest girl at heart, born and raised in Columbia, MO. I earned my BFA in Illustration at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, met some amazing artists & collaborators along the way, then journeyed West in search of scenic beauty. I definitely found it in the Emerald City!
I'm equally inspired by decadence and simplicity. I covet the whimsical, the beautiful, and the absurd. How silly and impractical is a tiny hat? Very, yet I love it just the same!
