SHIPPING
All items are made to order by me and take approximately 2-8 weeks per item to complete depending on what you order. This time frame is estimated and listed in BOLD type in the description of each item. The shipping time is in addition to the time it takes to make each item. If you order multiple items and have questions about how long your order will take to process, just ask! You can reach out for an ETA at any time.
I ship with the US Postal Service (USPS), UPS, and Ascendia.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING Please still expect delays due to Covid-19 putting sporadic stresses on postal systems around the world. Because of this, I cannot guarantee orders will arrive by specific dates. International orders may incur customs fees. Those are the responsibility of the buyer. I will not mark orders as “gift” so please do not ask; it is illegal. I ship via the method the customer chooses: First Class, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express. First Class mail can take 2-4 weeks to arrive depending on the destination.
SHIPPING TO GERMANY In 2019 Germany’s Packaging Act VerpackG came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).
I am registered at the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR) with registration number DE5458191412392. My Dual System Licensing partner for the collection, sorting & recycling of the packaging is ACTIVATE by RECLAY.
As consumer please ensure that all received packaging is disposed of in the right recycling containers, Blue for all paper & cardboard and Yellow for all plastics.
SHIPPING TO THE UK At this time, all UK customers are directed to purchase items through my Etsy Store. If you don't see a website item on Etsy, I will create a custom listing for you there. This is because of VAT registration requirements.
Some of the hats and headdresses are quite large, though lightweight, and require a good deal of packing materials to ensure they arrive safely. This makes the shipping cost higher for these items because of the larger size of the box.
As often as possible, I will recycle boxes for shipping. Please don't be surprised if your order arrives in an odd box!
Local pickup is available for Seattle area customers in Ballard.
Washington state customers will be subject to sales tax.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES
Because all items are handmade to order I do not offer refunds - only exchanges. I will do my best to process the exchange as quickly as possible, but please be aware because each item is handmade, it will take some time to remake your order. If your item has not yet shipped and you've changed your mind, please contact via email to cancel and receive a full refund.
The policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since you received your order, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange. You must email at customerservice@apatico.net to being the process.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused (tried on is ok of course!) and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be shipped back in the original or similar protective packaging.
Custom orders are exempt from being returned.
If the item arrives damaged, not as described, or the issue is our error, contact us as soon as possible so we can make it right!
SALE ITEMS
Exchanges on items purchased with coupon codes or sales is allowed. If you purchase a clearance/sample sale item, that item is final sale and will be noted in the item description.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. We'll cover the shipping on your replacement items.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
